Mike's Story - An ALS Hero

Mike fought a great fight against this terrible disease. He was blessed with an outstanding pouring out of love from family members and others that made his end times as peaceful as possible. His time with ALS was shorter than most, which was also a great blessing in so many ways. 

The care and consult from his ALS team couldn't have been better. We are dedicated to doing whatever we can to help the ALS organization find ways to help those suffering. We appreciate any donation you can make to accomplish this. 

WHAT IS ALS?

ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS is an always-fatal neurodegenerative disease in which a person’s brain loses connection with the muscles. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe. The Rocky Mountain Chapter supports people living with ALS and their loved ones through services and education in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. We leave no stone unturned in search for the cure of this progressive neurodegenerative disease.

Because there is no known cause or cure for ALS, there is an urgency for more research and financial support.
