Welcome to My Personal Page
This Tribute page honors the memory of our loved one. ALS is a difficult and trying journey but your support and love throughout this journey will always stay within our hearts. If you would like to support those braving their ALS journey, please read on and give serious consideration to making a donation in honor of our ALS HERO. Donation instructions to follow.
OUR ALS HERO’S STORY
Our ALS Hero braved every second as their body began to change throughout this disease. However challenging this journey was, the light that came from our ALS Hero never diminished. Hope will last through our darkest times and the love of our family and friends will stay with us forever.
WHAT IS ALS?
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS is an always-fatal neurodegenerative disease in which a person’s brain loses connection with the muscles. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe. The Rocky Mountain Chapter supports people living with ALS and their loved ones through services and education in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. We leave no stone unturned in search for the cure of this progressive neurodegenerative disease.
DONATE
Because there is no known cause or cure for ALS, there is an urgency for more research and financial support. Your donation today will help provide much needed services, which can be incredibly expensive and hard to obtain. The estimated out-of-pocket cost for the care of a person living with ALS is over $250,000. Visit alsaco.org/ to learn more about the different types of donations you can make to the ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter or access our printable donation form below.
