I am moved to create a fund raising team to help my beloved friend, Libby Cruise. Libby has been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease.) There is no cure and it breaks my heart. Libby is a beautiful, strong soul. She is not only beautiful and strong. She's compassionate, dedicated, dependable, generous, loving, energetic. Libby has a noticeable zest for life and an enjoyable sense of humor. Her companionship is a real treat. Her supportive loving husband, Steve, is her rock and her 2 wonderful sons are close by her side. I want to help this stricken family. I am in awe of Libby and plan to raise money for her care and for ALS research. I shall be grateful beyond words for any help you might give.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
