Welcome to My Personal Page

I’m walking in honor of my dear friend and therapist, Fern, who passed away this winter after living with ALS. Fern had a heart of gold—she was wise, compassionate, and deeply devoted to the people she cared for. She made a lasting impact on my life and the lives of so many others. To honor her memory and the incredible person she was, I’m forming a team to walk in her name. This walk is about more than fundraising—it’s a tribute to Fern’s legacy and a step toward a future without ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
Please consider walking with me or sponsoring me. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease and at the same time honor our dear Fern.
