Our goal is simple but vital?raising funds to support those battling ALS and spreading awareness about the urgent need for treatments and, one day, a cure.

But before we walk together, I want to take a moment to share what ALS really is. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a cruel and unforgiving disease that slowly steals a person?s ability to walk, speak, eat, and even breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is tragically short?only 2 to 5 years. This disease doesn?t discriminate; it affects people from all walks of life. And perhaps most heartbreaking of all, there is still no known cause or cure.

For me, this walk is more than just an event?it?s personal. My family has felt the unbearable weight of ALS. My family watched two of my aunts bravely face this disease. That?s why I?m walking?to honor their memory, to stand with those who are currently battling, and to fight for a world where no one else has to hear the words, ?You have ALS.?
