I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit as I walk in honor of my uncle, Dennis Bailey, who recently passed away after being diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This year’s ALS Walk in Denver holds deep meaning for our family as we come together to celebrate Dennis’s life and carry forward the fight against this devastating disease.

ALS is a progressive and incurable illness that impacts not just individuals, but their entire families. Watching Dennis’s strength and resilience reminded us of the urgency and importance of advancing research, support, and advocacy for those facing this journey.
