Walking for Love, Fighting for a cure
Hey there,
Thank you for being here and for helping me reach my Walk ALS Denver fundraising goal. This walk means more to me than words can say.
On Sunday October 5th, 2025 at Sloans Lake, I will be walking for my dad, Stephen Love, who was diagnosed with ALS in November 2023. I would love for you to join my team and walk beside me or support us from near or far. Every step we take together makes a difference.
ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a cruel and relentless disease. It slowly takes away the ability to walk, speak, swallow and eventually breathe. The average life expectancy is only 2 to 5 years from diagnosis. It can strike anyone and to this day, there is no known cause or cure. The past two years have brought hope, incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care, and legislation that improves the lives of people and families living with this disease. But we cannot stop now. A cure begins not just with science, but with love, support, and community. It begins with you.
This struggle does not discriminate. It touches every family and every community. While the pain is real, so too is the light that shines when we stand together. It is only through support, hope and love that we can carry one another through the weight of the unknown.
In a world full of uncertainty, I hold tightly to the people who remind me what really matters. My team, my family, my community, you have continued to show up no matter the miles or the time that separates us. And in this fight, love and unity mean everything.
So lets walk together.
Lets hope together.
Lets love together.
Your support means the world to me, my dad and my family. Thank you for being part of the hope that carries us forward. Together, we can build a future where fewer families face this heartbreak and where love leads us closer to a cure.
